What a CV cannot tell you

Not a CV, but an open answer to the questions you have about me: who I am, what drives me, and whether my path fits your organisation.

Peter's printed resume on a wooden desk, half covered by a Fluke multimeter, a red test lead and two of his circuit boards.

A CV tells you what I did. LinkedIn tells you where. Neither answers the questions you actually have when you consider working with someone: who is this person, what drives them, and does their path connect to what my organisation needs?

This website is my attempt to answer those questions openly, in my own words. It is not a sales pitch. It is the story of what matters to me, so you can decide for yourself whether it fits.

Will it fit your organisation?

That is your call, and you have the full view to make it. The stories open on the business problem and end on what I learned, including what went wrong. The recommendations are in the words of the people who wrote them. The About page has the whole timeline.

One lesson from those stories is to talk about your work, because that is how partners find you. This website is me doing exactly that. If what you read fits, let’s discuss your project.
